an update

Aiyohhh!!! Lama tak update. Pre-occupied with a number of things since past few weeks.

- Graduation 1st July 2005. Superb ceremonies (yes, we had two grad ceremonies. Rites of Passage and the official Queen Mary, University of London grad ceremony). Bloody exhausting, although fun fun taking photos with friends.

- Went to Europe tour (Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam)with my husband Nik, my mum and dad.

- Sorted out our accomodation in Blackburn. Gonna live in 3 bedroom beautifully decorated house with superb bathroom (laid out with wooden flooring and wood frame). Absolute classic English house. Chantekkk.....

- London bombing.
Parents, Nik & I almost board on picadilly line from Victoria to Kings Cross at around 8.51 am. We just arrived from Amsterdam that morning. Then the whole tube system was suspended. Waited for bus, and the whole bus system was pulled off. Tried one hour to hail a cab but no vacant cab and the road around City of London area wWe ended up walking home from Victoria to Barbican. Jauhhhhh I tell you! Took us 4-5 hours, superseded with sessions of photo-taking at St James Park and Big Ben and lunch break at Mc Donald Oxford Street. What an experience. The streets was empty from the cars, but on the pedestrian sides were jam-packed with calm commuters walking home or to office.

No shouting or huru-hara like that. Life goes on.

- The car we rent had a flat tyre at M1. Got lost (2 hours) when we tried to find which road to go to motorway from central London. (from Bayswater - Victoria - Camberwell - Westminster - Chelsea - Victoria again, and akhirnya masuk kat A1 to go to the north). Ni suma pasal silap take turn at roundabout la.

Apa lagi ye? That's all I can think of now.

Oh, will be leaving London to Kuala Lumpur this wednesday. Hip Hip hooray!
