Updates
Nothing really.Everyone knows my life consisted mostly of works & socialising with med colleagues (who else will listen to my whims).
Chatting away with J, my previous consultant; well, both of us on-call today and keep encouraging me to go and visit the island eg: beautiful outdoors etc. I can pretty much say hubby & I kinda lost interest in visiting places in the UK. I mean whenever you go, most of the time, same kind of shops, same kind of scenery. You can only take so much of farms & meadows and greenlands, sheeps and cows, right?
I could do with a year break & get a postgrad degree in Paris.
Can't wait to go to our honeymoon in Barcelona!
And medical staffing is ever so great. Not just they didn't approve my leave which I ask for ages ago, and now they want me to cover another team and they approve my HO leave, which leave me on my own devices. My SG is absolutely useless.Never know that people can be employed out of pity.
On-call is ok today. J & I get a bit excited with a rather unusual junctional arrythmias (not WPW btw). I just wish J will stop with his banana story (keep asking me to be the witness) and it starts to make me feel embarassed.
Another Royal College exam coming. Well, I guess that's the price of being a doc in the UK. Endless assessments,e-portfolios, KBA and future GMC re-validation every 5 years.
