Off sick

Took sick leave today; I thought I could make it through initially, but during shower, the fits of cough started again.My throat felt like it was slashed open by a kitchen knife, then I thought,I couldn't possibly manage the one hour drive to work like this. My stomach hurts from coughing soo much over the weekend.I practically drinks the cough mixture, it relieved for 5 mins. The salt water gargles did help, but only for a short time. It usually took me a week to completely recover.

The flu season.Must have caught it from the surgery!
