MPV

Can I just say I am loving every minute driving this 7 seater MPV - Vauxhall zafira.I am not into car at all (sorry, I am not obsessed big cars or flaunting excesses; I don't understand this obsession with malaysian buying mercedes kat uk). If anything, you are just inviting robbery.

Nonetheless, this MPV is soooo comfortable, so much so I thought about driving it for (????plan) little europe tour in the distant future. Anyhow too broke right now (with moving house + isle of man flight/ferry/whatever route of commuting + other plan right now) for a new car. Petrol costs so much these days (malaysia or uk).

Nahh, it doesn't hurt to dream a little eh?

too old to do night shifts?

Gosh, these night seemed to be dragging forever. 4 more to go.

Sore thoat, cold & flu. I think I might have caught something from the cystic fibrosis patients; I just hope its not pseudomonas. I am pretty sure this bloody sore throat must must at least streptococcus. Man, do I sound hypochondriac.

I must be insane to think doing audit & night is possible. At 3 am, after the 10th medical record, you start seeing stars.

Last night didn't help either. I can just anticipate a VF arrest on this patient that I rang the reg to come down now(frequent VE; Severe 3 vessels disease waiting for CABG & haemofiltration). True enough, 30 minutes later he went to VF & we did precordial thumps & cardioverted him with 1 shock. I don't want to expand any further, obviously one can draw own conclusion about end-point. We'll see when I came back to tonight shift.

I am so tired. Can't wait to go on vacation. This GPIIa/IIIb audit can wait.

Internet at last!

Hahaha. Got internet at home at last.

Hubby & I were going bonkers without it; obviously no blogging at work place. Don't think I will be blogging very long, given the fact the bloody mobile broadband won't work at isle of Man (considered overseas).

I struggled without the net - doing the eportfolios (this is my bugbear), completing audits, banking etc...its a real hassle but what can I do, eh? Waiting for the bt line to install take ages, anyway things are sorted now.

The house - its gorgeous. Couldn't be more happier with current purchase. Sometimes think we should get bigger house, but one should not get greedy with the credit crunch cloud over UK economy & with doctors banding being downgraded. The garden - hubby laid down the grass himself & currently waiting for our shed to be delivered. He is a qualified gardener now.Spend lotsa time in B&Q these days. Thinking of putting pics on the net, but I don't think its a good idea. Too exposed.

Loved our sliding door wardrobe and my comfy comfy mattress. The settee is such a good investment. The carpet turned out to be more lovely than I originally thought. Also loved the fridge & the dining table.

Thinking about getting a cat. hmmmm......
